First Women by Jane Walker
As entrepreneurs, women face steep systemic disadvantages in funding new ventures. Men receive more than 95% of all conventional small business loan dollars, while women seeking small business loans get approximately $35,000 less their male counterparts.
To combat this, female-led company Jane Walker launched First Women, a groundbreaking campaign in partnership with ifundwomen and content series that set out to fund five female small business owners and help them make their startup dreams a reality.
In addition to the creative campaign, we also launched an ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) initiative that galvanized celebrity and political voices to inspire the country to push for equal rights for all - including, and especially for, women.
